VOCABULARY

• The full vocabulary list has over 2,100 unique words with translations in each language.
• Words are categorized into over 65 unique subject areas.

AUDIO

• Hear each vocabulary word spoken by a native speaker.
• All words in each language are recorded in high-quality, static-free audio performed by a professional voice actor who is also a native speaker in that language.
• A total of over 4,200 individual audio recordings are included.

STUDY SETS

• Organize words into collections called study sets.
• An unlimited number of study sets can be created.
• Study sets can be any size, from 1 word to the total number of words in the vocabulary list.
• Each study set can be given a unique, meaningful name.
• The built-in study set of “All Words” lets you study all words at once.
• The built-in study set of “Selected Categories” lets you study all words from categories you have selected.

STUDY MODE

• View words in both languages simultaneously.
• View either language at the top and the other language at the bottom.
• Optionally hear the pronunciation automatically as you move from word to word.
• Tap the onscreen icon to hear the pronunciation again and again.
• Words may be viewed in alphabetical order or in a shuffled order.
• Your current words and your position in them are saved between application sessions.

FLASHCARD MODE

• View either language on the front and the other language on the back.
• Tap the flashcard onscreen to flip from front to back.
• Optionally hear the pronunciation automatically as you move from word to word and when you flip from front to back.
• Tap the onscreen icon to hear the pronunciation again and again.
• Words may be viewed in alphabetical order or in a shuffled order.
• Your current flashcard words and your position in them are saved between application sessions.

QUIZ MODE

• Test your progress in All Words, Selected Categories, or one of your custom study sets.
• Quizzes can be 10, 20, or 30 words in length.
• View a word in one language and choose the correct translation in the other language.
• Simply tap on one of the four word choices onscreen to choose your answer.
• Get immediate feedback with green and red indicators for right and wrong choices.
• A special Challenging mode eliminates most cognates and forces you to match words of the same part of speech (nouns with nouns, for example).
• Quiz progress is saved between application sessions.

SEARCH MODE

• Search the entire vocabulary list in either language for unfamiliar words.
• View the search results in either language.
• Search results are automatically refreshed with every letter typed.
• Quickly and easily scroll through all matching words.
